Funding request for offline metrics[edit]
To demonstrate impact of offline projects we need a plan to record and report usage metrics of these offline devices. Tracking people on Wikipedia online is socially and ethically complicated. Tracking people on offline devices is very easy with software, but much more ethically complicated and cannot be centralized as with online Wikipedia.
At Grants:Project/Fieldback Catalytics a team is requesting review to do research and development of an offline analytics tracking guide for best practices. Someone has to do this eventually.
