Where should we vote and why do not transer the old votes?--Yaroslav Zolotaryov 14:26, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This policy EXPLICITLY ignores voting, asks only for arguments. I've provided some. And if you want, you may opt-in for the team of the wiki itself, you weren't bad admin in incubator times. :). Yury Tarasievich 18:17, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's a big problem with interwiki links right now. The new version has about six times fewer articles than the old version, so most interwiki links in other language wikipedias don't work. Consequently, at least on the English-language wikipedia, many interwiki links are being deleted by editors who see that there is no article at that location. I suggest that some kind of script be written which would prowl all of the other wikipedias and change all "be" interwiki links to "be-x-old" if they were added earlier than the date that the wiki was moved. Currently, a few editors are moving them manually, but it's incredibly tedious work.

It seriously looks to me like the ramifications of this for other wikipedias weren't thought through very well. 67.70.96.251 08:01, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
