Unlike other dialects, Cypriot Greek is used in an entire country rather than region. There are approximately 1 million speakers and smaller dialects have their own page. The most important reason for this dialect getting its own page is that it is so different from any other dialect of Greek that it can not be understood by anyone out of Cyprus Jezza Kyp (talk) 13:17, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
