Denied?[edit]

The template says that these proposals were denied. May I know why and how and when that happened, please? Did somebody secretly voted (?!) and decided not to approve these projects? Who has enough power to decide this, when - as I can see - the score in favour of Quenya is 15:10 right now? Or these votes do not even count? Note that a test Wikipedia in Quenya is active, too. --George D. Bozovic 22:29, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I noted that it was denied because it's transcluded on Requests for new languages/Denied; I have no idea why it was. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk/map) 02:35, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What's happening with Quenya?[edit]

I second George D. Bozovic's question, why was the Quenya proposal denied?

I am wholeheartedly behind anything to do with the advancement of Quenya, although i have only just discovered this site, I am willing to contribute with anything i can.

i learnt Quenya through the brilliant 20-lesson course at ardalambion.com three years ago, and it has continued to facinate me.

Quenya is a beautiful language linguistically speaking, with over 6 cases,(genetive, possessive, allative, ablative, locative, instrumental, as well as their plural and duel forms) and an amazing systems of pronouns (pronouns, both the nominative and the accusitive are added as a suffix to the end of verbs, with different systems for using pronouns with nouns)

There is an extensive Quenya wordlist (perhaps one might even call it a dictionary?) available at http://www.uib.no/people/hnohf/wordlists.htm which shows the extent of the vocabulary for Quenya. Quenya is a complex and well-developed language, i strongly support this venture

What is the latest news regarding the Quenya test?
