@ჯეო: While I am very impressed by the work that has been done in Georgian in the Multilingual Wikisource, there are simply too few active contributors for us to consider approving it as a separate wiki. The activity level has been steady for a long time, but it's all thanks to one user: Giakosh. We would like to see at least 3–4 contributors with steady activity before we approve a project – one user is simply not enough. What would happen if Giakosh stopped contributing for whatever reason? The answer is actually in front of us, because (s)he was inactive for October, and there was nobody else contributing except for a few anonymous editors. Look at the statistics here.
So to sum it up: I would be happy to approve Georgian Wikisource when there are more regular contributors to Georgian pages in the Multilingual Wikisource. In the meantime, there is very little difference in the functionality of the Multilingual Wikisource versus having a separate wiki (as opposed to the situation for Wikipedias in Incubator), so there is no real disadvantage to having the content where it is currently. @Jon Harald Søby: I was contributor, but I am not contributing because you don't open project, there were many active users, but now there is no one, because everyone is waiting to open of this project--ჯეო (talk) 15:01, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@ჯეო: Your test project is not only one that are still waiting for this, even enough contents, Khowar test Wikipedia is "your friend". Better to let @Giakosh, George Mel, Tokoko, BRUTE, and Gaeser:@LUGALzu, Jaba1977, Fiqriasidamonize, David1010, and -jkb-:@Gaga.vaa, Temuri rajavi, Jafeluv, Павло Сарт, and თეკა: to continue contributing for some months before requesting approval. (And actually, you only contributed 75 edits, and too rarely pages created, I doubt if this can even be a reason to approval any one project) (also, I wonder why User:Gaeser is redirected to User:Melberg, are both related? Likely Special:CentralAuth/Temuri rajavi and თეკა) --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 02:33, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Liuxinyu970226: From them only two is active user--ჯეო (talk) 08:48, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@StevenJ81: How do you think about this situation? In your opinion should we pre-approve ka.wikisource because of such few activities? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 08:13, 10 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with @Jon Harald Søby on this.
To be honest, where a Wikisource is concerned, I'm not quite as worried about how regular the activity is, because Wikisources are repositories for already-established content, not hosts for new content. But I'm very worried that such a high percentage of the content here has been provided by a single individual. This project would need to be open to any/all content a community wishes to add, not be the realm of one or two individuals. StevenJ81 (talk) 14:50, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
