Withdrawal statement

Dear all,

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to review my application, examine my profile, read my questions... and cast their votes. I am grateful for the consideration shown!

In hindsight, I must acknowledge that submitting my candidacy at this stage was very premature. Beyond that, I lacked the necessary experience. The application itself was made rather impulsively, at the last minute, from a mobile phone while commuting home. It was neither a measured decision nor one that had been discussed or encouraged, as had been the case with my previous initiatives. Particularly during a period in which my personal commitments are especially demanding.

It is therefore clear that I should first focus on strengthening my own responsibilities as an admin and, above all, on freeing up the time required to fulfil them properly in real terms. These roles entail genuine commitments and responsibilities, which must of course be fully assumed. I accept this reality and move forward accordingly. My understanding of the roles entrusted by the community has always been rooted primarily in trust, beyond the expected level of involvement or technical expertise. Such expertise is often acquired over time, through practice, provided that any shortcomings do not cause harm.

I may be mistaken in this view, but I remain firmly convinced of one thing: our community is a collective strength, built on the addition of many valuable talents, without the number of places being limited. To those among you who may hesitate to step forward, I would encourage you to do so, even at the risk of exposure or criticism, whether fair or otherwise. In moments like these, we more than ever need to uphold a model that is increasingly under threat. And we rely on committed, capable individuals to sustain it.

For this candidacy, I therefore take my leave. I trust you will understand both my decision and the error in judgement on my part. My very best wishes to the candidates and I wish you all every success and continued momentum.
