Grammar[edit]

@Johan (WMF), Quiddity (WMF), and Tacsipacsi: "Abuse filters can hinder users from being automatically added to user rights for a period of time."

They either hinder users from being assigned user rights or they hinder them from being added to user groups.

"They can also remove users from rights they have."

They either remove rights from users or remove users from groups.

"The link colours could change."

Colours is British spelling. Not incorrect, but Americans may blink while reading this. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 15:48, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed, thanks.
Yes, of course. Tech News often uses British spellings. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 21:10, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Johan (WMF): Thanks. I was curious if the "color" spelling was still consistently used in the UK, so I did a quick search on theguardian.com. Interesting result: they consistently write "people of color", "women of color", "voters of color", etc but for everything else they write "colour". — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 00:34, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
