First, I have to do a shout-out to User:Kaganer for the incredible hard work he's done here. Thank you so much for sticking with it over so long a period of time!

A translation was provided to the Wikimedia Foundation by a professional translator along with a small suite of others; I've supplemented what was here with that content. I hope the community will feel free to double-check and improve that translation. Just to make that extra clear, I updated the description of the PDF. :) It says, "A Russian translation of the Terms of Use. These Terms of Use were written in English (U.S.). While we hope that translations of these Terms of Use are accurate, in the event of any differences in meaning between the original English version and a translation, the original English version takes precedence. This "external" translation have a lot of inaccuracies in regard to the terms and concepts used in the Russian translation of the Wikimedia policies. I don't recommend using it "as is" for any purpose.--Kaganer (talk) 14:48, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
