Add zonestamp?
[edit]It would be interesting to have a link to https://zonestamp.toolforge.org/ in the timings, and perhap show them only in UTC + local.
I am in BRT (UTC-3), with daylight saving times and similar, it is sometimes complex to convert from EST/CEST and others.

- I came here to see if anyone had discussed this. During the time period of this event, Bern does not use CEST, NY does not use EST, and I assume NZ won't be saving any daylight in the winter (but then, I don't understand why NZ is mentioned here, anyway). If you can't do that ZoneStamp thing suggested by TiagoLubiana above, then can you at least use the correct local time (CEDT) for Bern? UTC wouldn't be bad, though, since most of us deal with that "zone" when looking at timestamps of published edits. Thanks — JohnFromPinckney (talk / edits) 18:23, 7 August 2025 (UTC)

- @JohnFromPinckney: I was reading this: «During the time period of this event, Bern does not use CEST». Are you sure? I'm quite sure that it's CEST in Bern in this moment [1] [2]. It makes semantically sense, since it's central Europe, and it's Summer in this moment. But I'm not a time-travel expert lol, don't bet on me.

- @TiagoLubiana: Thanks for your idea! I've implemented this feature request right now. Now each entry in the program shows a new link to the worldwide Zonestamp times.
- (Internal note: in order to work, the template now supports two formats: the legacy "time-only" format, and the new "date-plus-time" format. The last format is the only one which can generate a valid w:Unix timestamp, so, it's the only format which can generate a valid Zonestamp link. I've already put the missing dates in all template usages).

Congratulations
[edit]This was really diverse and quite inclusive program. I am a bit more hopeful of WikiCite revival after spending few hours this weekend online with you and seeing that technical setup kind of work with all FLOSS apps and services. Maybe a post-festum session before/after making all the uploads and reports is useful to have a shared wrap-up and solid basis for future? Zblace (talk) 07:53, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
