Potential content?

Hi User:Alexmar983, in 2024 I published an article in the "Mitteilungen des Deutschen Archäologen-Verbands" ("Communications of the German Archaeologists' Association"). It deals with the possibilities that professional archaeologists have to contribute to the "Wikiverse" as well as the chances and risks that come along with it (DOI:10.60536/mdarv.2023.1.104435, Open Access). Due to the context of the publication, the focus is on the German Wikipedia - but the paper might still be comparable to the other conference presentations and publications mentioned in the draft so far (that, in fact, also focus on specific projects). I leave it up to you whether to include this - just want to help for the case that my text falls into the scope of your/our report. Thank you for your work! Hi @DerMaxdorfer: thanks very much for mentioning this; unfortunately, I see the article has been published in May 2024, and this report covers the period from mid August, so it would have been perfect for the previous report, WikiClassics User Group/Reports/2023. I am pretty sure that volume 54 of the journal was not yet published in may 2024 despite the date given on the website, but I can't prove it right now. Anyway, for the moment I have no other ideas for the report. DerMaxdorfer (talk) 19:46, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
