News?[edit]

Any news? Snowolf 23:42, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have quite literally only about a week or less worth of work left to do to get it to beta; however, I'm not sure when I will find even that small amount of time right now. I'm finishing my midterms this week, and I'll hopefully be able to put some time in toward it the following week. As such, it's possible (though not entirely likely) that a beta will be out in two weeks. AmiDaniel 00:54, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

couple of bugs etc[edit]

hi hi! i noticed that rollback doesn't go to last best revision, just back one edit [1]. also, whenever i select 'welcome user' from the contextual menu from the new users channel it brings up the page but won't tag it with the welcome template, just gives an 'error 9 out of range'.

other stuff: the pause RC hotkey could stand to be easier. considering RCs go by so fast, the only way to effectively check edits is to pause the list when you see a suspicious one, then click it. having two hands at the ready for cntl-shift-f11 is awkward. another help would be to have the ability to have tabs close after the requested action is taken - i just welcomed like 30 users, and having 30 trailing tabs open is more of a hindrance than anything. this could be an option in the profile editor. also, group blacklist like VP1? i love seeing those edits in red to pounce on, but i don't have a way to import my old or group blacklist.

all and all this is a pretty sweet little app though AmiDaniel, congrats on getting the beta out. JoeSmack 21:40, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the suggestions. If you could please add these as individual entries to the bug tracker so that they can be processed, it would be much appreciated. Thanks. AmiDaniel 00:23, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
done! that bug/feature entry thing is a bit strange, but they should all be entered in. JoeSmack 01:36, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Error[edit]

When I try to create a profile, it comes up with the message: Run time error '429':

Secure downloading[edit]

The Download section states that the program can be downloaded from http://amidaniel.com/pub/WikiMonitor. On that page, the first item in the download instructions is "For security reasons, ensure that you are currently viewing the URL https://amidaniel.com/pub/WikiMonitor". Since that is not the case, I click that link and get this message from Google Chrome: "This site's security certificate is not trusted..." Any suggestions? Even if you accept the cert, the page is not found. --Alastair Rae 13:21, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
