I need some more details to make sure what expenses are about.

  • Marketing - USD100 ---> this is flyers ? Kakemono ? Tee-shirts ? Can you be more specific please ?
  • Edit-a-thons (2) - USD100 each. USD200 ---> What do you include in there ? Is that rent ? Internet co ? food and beverage ? Please be more specific
  • Photo walks (2) - USD100 each. USD200 ---> What do you include in there ? Is that transport ? Internet co ? food and beverage ? Please be more specific
  • Transport and other logistics - USD200 ----> what do you include in "other logistics" ? More details please
  • Local competition prices - USD200 ----> will those prices be cash prices ? Or gifts such as camera or books etc.
  • Price presentation, visual exhibition - USD200 ---> is that only printing of winning pictures ? Or also rental of a place ?

I would need you to put each budget line into a category

Possible categories do include

  • Communication - Marketing (such as flyers, tee-shirts etc.)
  • Marketing Campaign (such as Facebook ads, press expenses etc.)
  • Stationary apart from marketing
  • Internet and phone expenses
  • Events (food, drinks, rent, air-conditioning, projector)
  • Travel (train, bus, car, fuel)
  • Salaries and stipends
  • Gifts (books, amazon vouchers, prints etc.)
  • Gifts in cash

Hi user:Michaelphoya I agree with @Anthere:, you need to be more specific about what you are spending your money on. Also, this is quite a lot for 4/5 events. Please readjust your financial expectations (the budget does not have to, and should not go up to US$1000). Please detail where the events will take place. Anthere, Islahaddow On second thoughts, and with sincere apologies, we are withdrawing our proposal.
ok Michaelphoya. That's fine. I guess it can be very energy consuming and small teams do not always have time; This is also why we proposed that teams fine-tune their proposals depending on their energy level. If you have the will to do JUST one photo hunt and need support for that day, please feel free to ask (in the next couple of days. We'll probably finalise budget at the end of the week).
