It’s me — back a little earlier this year with exciting news!
On behalf of the Wiki Loves Women team, I’m thrilled to announce that the #SheSaid campaign is running again in 2025! From September 1st to December 31st, we’ll once again be celebrating and amplifying the voices of remarkable women across Wikiquote and beyond.
To help you bring your #SheSaid ideas to life, here’s what you need to know about Wikimedia Rapid Grants:
- Cycle 1 Deadline: July 1, 2025 (Recommended)
- Cycle 2 Deadline: September 1, 2025 (Might be too late to get support in time for the campaign!)
We highly encourage you to apply in Cycle 1 to ensure your grant is approved before the campaign begins.
To make the process easier, we’ve prepared a simple grant application template that you can adapt to fit your local context and planned activities.
Tip: Please make a copy of the template before editing it.
Need help or want to brainstorm ideas? I’m happy to support you — just reply to this email (afek(at)wikiinafrica.org) or reach out on Telegram.
As a reminder of what we can achieve together: in the last edition, an incredible 11,029 articles were created or improved across 19 language Wikiquotes — thanks to the amazing efforts of 18 dedicated communities worldwide!
Let’s make this year’s #SheSaid campaign louder, bolder, and more impactful.

How do I opt out from the ads?
[edit]I've seen the banner ad hundreds of times. How can I remove it permanently, across all projects? — Chrisahn (talk) 09:17, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
