English translations of articles[edit]

Does Wikimedia France have an English translation of its articles of association? If not, does it have any plans to do so? WhisperToMe 08:35, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, what do you mean by articles of association? By-laws or meta pages explaining our activities? There's no plan to translate our by-laws yet (no demand, it takes time, and it's written in legalese). We're trying to have meta pages that are both in French and English (some may be missing though). Julien Fayolle 07:16, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I understand legalese can be very difficult to translate. If/when the translations appear, I'll make sure that they are listed at Wikimedia_chapters#Existing_chapters.
