Talk:Wikimedia CEE Spring 2018/Statistics

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Republika Srpska[edit]

The statistics do not show Republika Srpska as a seperate entity, and certainly both Bosnia and Hercegovina and Other do not foot the bill neither. For example, for pl.wiki there are counted 0 articles for B&H and Other, while there are certainly more than 0 new articles regarding Republic of Serbia within B&H.

Other thing is: what is precisely Other? :)

@Aegis maelstrom:: "Other" are articles where it's unclear where they belong, I think, but @Masti: could probably explain this better. Republika Srpska is indeed missing! Braveheart (talk) 01:07, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Aegis maelstrom:: The articles are counted based on country= tag in the templates. "Other" means none from the list on the left. "None" means the template has no information about the country. Details can be found on this list: Wikimedia CEE Spring 2018/Statistics/Article list. Empty country column means this will be counted towards "None" column, bolded' will be counted in "Other". Republika Srpska is now a separete column since yesterday. masti <talk> 08:54, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Total count to the left[edit]

Hey @Masti:, any chance the 'Total' column could be copied next to the 'wiki' column? This would improve readability a lot. Thanks. Gikü (talk) 08:59, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Gikü:: Be aware that this total count includes duplicates (if article is about multiple countries). For proper total see this page. --Papuass (talk) 10:02, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Papuass: Roger that. But still... Gikü (talk) 10:44, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
