International list to expand in 2021[edit]

We discussed already on few occassions how International list would expand in 2021 in few directions... Zblace (talk) 11:50, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding data on more languages[edit]

Wikimedia CEE Spring 2021 is an annual event organised by Wikimedians and Wikipedians who joined the Central and Eastern Europe collaboration with an aim to support article creation about every country in the region on every Wikipedia.but actually if we want to have people join from other than CEE language Wikipedia's we should add their language info into table. We already had participants who are from Italian and Francophone Wikipedias, so I would hope we can also de-center English at least a little bit and add at least these two languages (maybe Spanish also)?

Wikimedia CEE Spring aims to join local forces of free knowledge to accumulate and distribute information about history, culture, traditions and people in every corner of the region to support mutual acknowledgement and understanding and to increase the quantity and quality of free knowledge available about the CEE region globally. ...if more people proactivly show up to contribute in spreading knowledge on CEE into other languages, we should add those at least to some categories/lists.

Who can add these languages? -- Zblace (talk) 11:50, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm hesitant expanding the module because the performance is based on how many items are checked in how many languages. We can copy the Module:WikimediaCEEWomen to use an international array of languages. Braveheart (talk) 12:58, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No strong opinion here as I do not fully understand, so just do as you think is best. Is it something User:Masti maintains? -- Zblace (talk) 14:10, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Braveheart: stats are done by external Python script so no problem with adding new languages technically. So if there is an equivalent of {{CEE Spring 2021}} template I can include it in the stats. The module for Structure pages is not maintained by me. But I do not thing adding some more languages would be a performance problem. Rather readability as it expands past the screen or is squeezed to much. masti <talk> 19:29, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, sorry for the misunderstanding, but the Module:WikimediaCEETable is becoming unreadable as is, so splitting up the purposes of that module would make more sense, and is fairly easy to do. I removed Catalan the other day, because for some reason someone added it to the table. Braveheart (talk) 20:47, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Expanding Wikimedia Technology with Values and Visions[edit]

Aside from having Wikimedia Technology as international list, we should include our shared Values and Visions that emerged as part of the process Wikimedia community work (not just 2030 strategy) and as part of responses to global crisis over the Covid-19 pandemic. I will be bold and generalize the list and add few more pages for translation. What are your thoughts? What should be added here? -- Zblace (talk) 11:50, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
