Automatically booked?[edit]

Just one question: is the accommodation automatically booked when registering, or do I have to contact Eastern Comfort to book it? Thank you. --Paginazero - Ø 09:21, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's a "Please book accommodation for me" checkbox on the registration form. If you checked that, the organizers will book for you. --Catrope 10:13, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Now I have to remember whether I checked it... :o) did it. --Paginazero - Ø 10:34, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bedding/Towels[edit]

Whats the deal with bedding/towels? Planning on travelling light (no hold luggage), and bedding/towels would take up loads of room. Cheaper to pay the 5 euros a night (and less hassle)... Can we pay on arrival? Slightly cheeky aside, would the WMF pay for this if paying for accommodation? Or not, as it's an "extra"? Not bothered if I have to pay it, just thought i'd ask =)

AFAIK, WMF itself only pays for accommodation for staff members. People who checked the "I need help with costs" box on the registration form and got their request fulfilled are probably being funded by WMDE instead. --Catrope 12:54, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proof of accommodation[edit]

Will we need to present proof of accommodation when we undergo immigration procedures upon arrival in the EU? I'm not sure as to whether or not I should request for proof of accommodation before leaving next week. --Sky Harbor 08:52, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
