From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Unrealistic[edit]

In order to ask for money from companies, you have to offer decent work. We don't do that on German Wikipedia. Here ideologically deluded Wiki activists are already crying “paid letters” as soon as a company only adds and corrects its figures on the basis of the business report - a reputable source. Not to mention outdated company and brand entries with one-sided content. No, folks: German Wikipedia is an amateur league when it comes to business. Nothing goes with financial claims.
