FYI[edit]

Hey Abbas, I just wanted to let you know that I've passed on a note about this proposal. Thanks for taking the time to give the new process a try. :) Steven Walling at work 18:33, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Existing Offline projects[edit]

How does this relate to, build on or differ from our existing Offline Projects and Static content group? WereSpielChequers 06:51, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It actually does relate to those projects. Only difference is, this time round, I think it's better to create custom-made offline Wikipedia that suits a country's educational curriculum. For instance, I was participating in the [| Wikipedia for Schools Project] in Kenya where we were installing offline versions of Kiwix, but it didn't suit the Kenyan students since Kiwix's content is based on the British curriculum. --Abbasjnr 15:58, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
