Hi all,

Hope you are wellǃ Writing to let you know that the coordination page is available for ESEAP affiliates to select a member to form the analysis committee. If further support is needed from the Movement Strategy and Governance team or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let RamzyM (WMF) or myself know. We would be more than happy to provide facilitation support to help the collaboration and decision-making process.

Best wishes,

Hello VChang (WMF) and @RamzyM (WMF) and all ESEAP friends,
Thank you for the message. Reke and I, together with the WMTW boards talked about this. We are willing to have someone from the WMTW to participant in the analysis committee for ESEAP's consideration. But before we propose this person, we would like to know about how much time to contribute, and how many candidates to analysis. When can we have a number? (seems like there are very few candidates by now...) also, does this analysis committee member allows to vote in the second phase of election(community vote)?

Hello Joycewikiwiki, thanks for responding to our message and raising the questions. Regarding the workload, it would likely include some work relating to setting up the group and communicating in some channels (Telegram group for example), probably one meeting with the election committee/Movement Strategy and Governance team to be on the same page, a couple of meetings to assess the candidates and some low-intensity asynchronous discussion during the process. Given that we are still in the process of calling for candidates, it is hard to predict the number of applications; this should be clear once the call for candidates closes on 16th May. Regarding the question on community voting, there is no rule indicating that an analysis committee member cannot vote in the phase of community voting. Hope the above helpsǃ VChang (WMF) (talk) 13:59, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your decision on an ESEAP analysis committee member by 15th May[edit]

Dear all,

Hope you are having a great start into the new weekǃ We would very much appreciate knowing ESEAP affiliates' decision by 15th May if possible. I am wondering since the ESEAP 19th Meeting is happening this Sunday, is there by any chance you are planning to meet on that day separately to decide on this matter? Would any of you kindly share your thoughts on this? Or if you have already reached any decision, would you kindly let us know? Many thanksǃ

Best wishes,
