Your application should be more detailed[edit]

Reading your candidacy, I really advise you to expand it a bit. At the moment, it is a bit short to understand what is your impact on the wikis and how they are aligned with the conference priorities, and what is your real motivation to attend Wikimania.

Don't forget that the evaluation committee will prefer to have a text to read more than a set of links to click on. :)

I'm going to improve the form in order to suggest that to future candidacies.

Registration to Wikimania[edit]

Hello again Trizek, I just saw the line "If you are a WMF-sponsored attendee (e.g., WMF Staff, Board, or Scholarship Recipient), please do not register until you are contacted by the WMF with instructions." after registering to Wikimania as I wanted to have the Early Bird pricing.. Will that be a problem? Thank you for your help. --— LurKin

LurKin, you are asking for a Wikimédia France (WMFr) scholarship, not a Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) one.

Registering to have the Early bird pricing is possible and up to you. But for now, your scholarship hasn't been validated by Wikimédia France micro-grant committee (micro-financement). If you need that scholarship to attend, registering early (and pay for that registration) may not be the best option since we are not going to reimburse you if your scholarship request is declined.
