Donations

Useful

This could be quite impactful. It may increase development, make developers more productive and speed things up. However, I suggest this is broadened to not just be about making paid tools available, but also to provide maybe some guidance and make people learn these tools. Probably many haven't yet given them a try. They could also be used to for example identify causes of known bugs and probably are heavily underused. So they aren't only useful for coding things but also for finding causes of bugs (such as data loss in the Wikipedia app which still has no feature to backup bookmarks & tabs).

@Prototyperspective Agree to the part about providing guidence and make people learn about these tools.

This idea came up during day 3 when we were discussing in the group for making knowledge gaps visible to readers. The group thought it was a good idea and needs to be documented somewhere, which is why I put it up here. This is the reason why the idea is not shown elsewhere.
