Wiki NYC asks for a lot[edit]

I wanted to post here to acknowledge having read this. I can confirm that this page matches what discussions Wiki NYC has had from about 2015 - May 2017. What is here seems like a text presentation of the issues which have been raised repeatedly at in-person meetings, board discussions in email, the one-on-one conversations which circulate around Wiki NYC organizers, and which have appeared in text documents like previous funding requests.

This version adds a graphic showing a breakdown in how the positions spend their time. While I agree that we have discussed having positions which do these things, now that I look at this in graphic form, it seems like too much to expect to have part-time jobs really be conscious of dividing their time with so many tasks in such a range of percentages. I think the people in these roles have agreed to address the tasks as described, but each one of these roles is taking on a complicated set of jobs which each use different skill sets. In the past I have been impressed with what the hires have been able to accomplish, and if that keeps working, then great. Wiki NYC is asking for a lot and this text description makes that more obvious to me than it has been with only discussions. Blue Rasberry (talk) 15:56, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
