It could be great to say the language of the blogs, maybe... and you can also add mine :) Solveig

Help, I messed up the page. [1]

Fixed it - you listed yourself after the closing bracket. - jredmond 20:33, 14 September 2005 (UTC)

Organization of this list[edit]

Is there any idea of how this list might be better organized? My first thought would be to rank the list in order of some independent meter of blog traffic, such as what Alexa or Compete provide. Problem, though... I'm not sure that such metrics are able to distinguish individual blog traffic on blog hosting sites, such as -- Thekohser 16:44, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps organising by blog subject might be a good idea. For instance in categories of; personal, scientific, travel, food... --InvaderXan 17:34, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Adding oneself[edit]

I think it is not entirely obvious whether you can add yourself to the list if you are a "Wikimedian who has mentioned their blog on their user page" and how exactly it should be done. I have mentioned my blog May Contain Language, or rather specific, relevant posts I've made there, at sv:Användare:Ever wonder and sv:wikt:Användare:Ever wonder. The blog alternates between Swedish and English; I've made Wikimedia-related posts in both languages and will likely do more. Ever wonder 19:24, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

I believe people have added their own blogs and other people's blogs. I see a few names on the recent edits by people who are not admin nor have any special standing. Just point to this section in an edit summary (copy and paste the link) if you want to post your blog. That way, people can come here to see that you are not just spamming it but honestly want to put it up without any problems. That way they will not attack you or criticize you as a spammer, but will try to work with you if there are any problems about you adding the page. Ottava Rima (talk) 20:49, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. To everyone: Clarification on the content page itself may still be a good idea, though I won't try to add it myself. Ever wonder 21:31, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

What's the purpose?[edit]

So, this list is simply advertising with no link with Wikipedia? Any firm should mention their blog here, good ad.
