Session on - Wikipedia and Citizens : knowledge building on real issues by Prof. Madhav Gadgil[edit]

Prof. Madhav Gadgil - Article on en.wikipedia, an eminent ecologist is recently advocating about Wikipedia to make it a citizens knowledge base on local real situations. He is working with various communities to evolve this concept. I will explain when I attend the function. I feel the rules especially for India should be relaxed; because our way of living and thinking about privacy slightly differs. I known what I mean. thanks. I do not know, 16th is the day of our program, and still the timings are not notified. Why ?[reply]

Hello there, I signed to attend the meeting but i forget to ask who can join the meeting? any user from mumbai or only Mumbai Wikipedia Community members? Sir I'm 71, and will not be alive for the next celebration> So please give me permission to attend the function, and bless the occasion. Thanks. I was present during the Wikipedia's 10th year celebrations held at Sophia college premises, Mumbai, in 2010.[reply]
