Questions to answer
- What is the most important message that you believe Wikipedia's 25th anniversary should send to the world?
- If you remember previous anniversaries, like Wikipedia 15 and Wikipedia 20, what about them did you find most and least impactful?
- Is there something new you think we as a movement should try?
- Is there something you or a group you belong to is already planning? Ed WMF [talk] 22:07, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- yes. Wikipedia should resume using the Movement Strategy Forums, as a vital resource for the community to share ideas and to discuss important plans. Sm8900 (talk) 17:20, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- I'll suggest a theme: Renewal - every organization needs to grow and change. Earlier anniversaries (e.g. the 10th and 20th) seemed to concentrate on consolidation. We'd come a long way from 2001, but by 2006 there seemed to be a sense of permanence and 2006-2011 was a major take-off from the base we'd built. 2011-2016 we seemed to be making sense of what we'd accomplished and how to continue expanding the encyclopedias along the same line. By 2021, which I participated in mainly as editor of The Signpost by publishing draft articles from [Wikipedia @ 20, Stories of an Incomplete Revolution, published by MIT Press] throughout most of 2020, there was a wonderful history built up that we could recount in detail in a long academic book. But, perhaps more usefully, half or a third of the book was dedicated to the future. Those articles were more speculative (of course!) and covered a lot of ground. We need to strengthen that part of our consciousness. Not just rest on our laurels, not plot out the day-to-day work, but to imagine what we can do in the next 25 years! Put the bold back into BE BOLD. By 2006 we'd knocked the world on its butt and made sure that everybody had to sit up and take notice. By 2051 we can do that again - maybe twice more! I'll be back with more along this line. Smallbones (talk) 03:37, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, Smallbones. Really appreciate your input. It's inspired some conversation over here! Ed WMF [talk] 20:05, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

Ideas and thoughts from the Communications Committee
During the committee February meeting, ComCom brainstormed some ideas related to Wikipedia25. The notes from that brainstorming session can be found below:
- What is the most important message that you believe Wikipedia's 25th anniversary should send to the world?
- On this age of AI, we should still celebrate volunteers (human contributions) like we did previously on 20th anniversary.
- Made by humans, for humans.
- Meet Wikipedia: The Human Encyclopedia
- Shape the Future of Knowledge: Wikipedia Needs You
- Let's be contributors, not just consumers of the free knowledge.
- Wikipedia is useful, Wikipedia matters a lot.
- The World is getting darker: we are a piece of light.
- PEOPLE matter and WE are the ones who are creating knowledge in the way AI cannot.AI cannot rewrite and merge unless someone human first produces something.
- Power of the open knowledge and diversity
- Wikipedia: the human touch.
- Free knowledge in a collaborative fashion.
- Wikipedia for You & I
- 25 Years of Access for All: Celebrating Knowledge Equity
- Wikipedia at 25: The people’s encyclopedia in a time of distrust.
- In the wilderness of information, Wikipedia lights the way for truth
- Celebrating 25 Years of knowledge production and integrity
- A global effort for truth: Wikipedia’s 25-year journey
- Wikipedia: 25 years force for good, public good
- If you remember previous anniversaries, like Wikipedia 15 and Wikipedia 20, what about them did you find most and least impactful?
- It was great to have birthday parties around the world
- The images were impactful, but only inside the movement. We didn't make anything impactful for the outside world. And the world needs us. Let's stop looking to our navel, and talk to the world.
- I personally loved the "20 years of Wikipedia" campaign , the graphics and visuals. Most impactful was the diverse communities coming together for the celebration around the globe. Not able to remember what was not impactful.
- Online celebrations with featured community members sharing their experiences
- Is there something new you think we as a movement should try?
- 24 hours global edit a thon with beautiful prizes
- or 25 hours for 25 birthday
- Interviews with people born on the same day as Wikipedia (they are adults now!)
- Topic of interviews: What Wikipedia means to you
- An aligned Wikipedia25 song (similar to songs from the past)
- Different languages
- Community spotlight : Monthly or bi monthly
- Newcomer tales juxtaposed with a old-timer/ veteran
- Virtual art showcase for wikipedia at 25
- Maybe community driven - and led not just by a comms agency hired to do the Branding/PR on this
- Wikipedia25 in a Word
- 24 hours global edit a thon with beautiful prizes
On behalf of the Communications Committee NSzafran-WMF (talk) 18:45, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks @NSzafran-WMF for the summary. I have extended the idea of "By humans, for humans" below. Theklan (talk) 10:02, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
- Many, many thanks to ComCom and you, Theklan. Really appreciate all the thoughts and ideas! Ed WMF [talk] 22:12, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
By humans. For humans.
Wikipedia is turning 25, which is important to celebrate. Not because 25 is a fancy number, but because we are here against all odds. It is time to give value to the most important thing: Wikipedia is made by humans, by volunteers who dedicate their time to give something to humanity. Wikipedia is made by humans who want knowledge to be free. People who read books, check facts, take photographs, correct texts, synthesise the complex. Wikipedia is made by people, and that is something we should celebrate.
In recent years we have seen the emergence of machines that also read everything done by humans and are able to synthesise that knowledge. Some say that the future of encyclopaedism is to continue writing texts to feed those machines. That may be the future, but our aim is not to feed machines, but to feed human beings. Wikipedia is written by humans, to be read by humans. In these times when we are encouraged to read what a black box owned by a few people have to say, the 25th anniversary of Wikipedia is an option to claim that we are people, that we write for people, and that is why we are one of the most important projects created by Humanity.
A people-based campaign
This celebration of the people who write and read Wikipedia should be at the heart of our 25th anniversary celebration. Let's do it in style, proudly showing who we are, what we've done, and what we have left to do. It is an invitation to participate in a project that can only continue to grow.
What can we do to showcase this idea? Here are some suggestions:
- Change the tagline for a year. It is no longer The free encyclopedia, but By humans. For humans. This change is already enough to show that this year is special, as it would be the first time we change the tagline.
- By X. For Y. Let's celebrate those X and those Y. By John. For Jessie. John enjoys writing about astronomy, he is passionate about all things above the heaven; Jessie has a small telescope in her home and enjoys reading about distant worlds. By Daksha. For Manjunath. Daksha takes photos of wildlife and uploads them to the Commons. Manjunath is researching about ecosystems in the University, and having wildlife images is improving his knowledge. By María. For Francisco. María loves to check consistency between history articles and cross-references articles constantly. Francisco is a retired metal-worker who couldn't learn at the University and now enjoys being able to read about history.
- In 2025 we will identify 12 contributors and 12 readers that will talk together about why they contribute and about what they have learnt.
- A communication strategy for chapters and language communities to replicate this idea in their context. A clear graphic design that can be easily changed by everyone, and ideas for approaching press with this same points: we want to celebrate humans who are crafting the largest ever free knowledge effort.
- A large public act during the Wikimania 2026. Wikimania is large, but it is usually and insider thing. Some local press coverage may occur, but there's no global coverage. It's time to change that, and make a public act during Wikimania 2026. We need people from culture, arts and academy to discuss what free knowledge means, and it must be something appealing. Is not about us talking about our things. Is about free knowledge to the world. We have one year to think on this large event, and Paris is a good showroom for that.

Wikipedia 25: The Global Wikipedia Flag Tour
To celebrate Wikipedia’s 25th anniversary, we propose a Global Wikipedia Flag Tour — a symbolic journey connecting Wikimedians across the world and showcasing the spirit of free knowledge.
How It Works
- The tour will begin six months before Wikipedia’s 25th anniversary in San Francisco, home of the Wikimedia Foundation.
- The Wikipedia flag will travel country by country, carried by local Wikimedia volunteers.
- At each stop:
- The volunteer (ambassador) will organize a small local event: a Wikipedia edit-a-thon, workshop, photowalk, or public presentation.
- The ambassador will take a photo with the flag in front of an important national monument (example:
- France: Eiffel Tower
- Egypt: Pyramids of Giza
- India: Taj Mahal
- Brazil: Christ the Redeemer
- USA: Statue of Liberty
- Japan: Mount Fuji
- Italy: Colosseum
- Australia: Sydney Opera House
- South Africa: Table Mountain
- Mexico: Chichen Itza
- And so on for each country.)
- The ambassador will sign their name and country directly onto the flag as a symbol of their participation.
- The flag will then be handed or shipped to the next Wikimedian in a neighboring country.
Volunteer Selection
- Volunteers will be selected from active Wikimedia contributors who are enthusiastic about representing their countries.
- Commitment to organizing a local event and ensuring the flag’s safety is required.
Media and Outreach
- The entire journey will be heavily promoted:
- Through photos, videos, and social media updates from each country.
- With a world map tracking the flag’s movement online.
- Regular features on Wikimedia Foundation blogs and possibly mainstream media outlets.
Final Celebration
- Once the flag completes its journey, it will return to San Francisco.
- A special event will showcase the signed flag, the photos from around the world, and celebrate Wikipedia’s 25-year journey.

- This reminds me a bit on the Free Travel-Shirt 2009/10, see also this Signpost coverage. Best, Martin Rulsch (WMDE) (talk) 09:00, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hey @TOUMOU. Just dropping in to say we had a meeting to discuss the different ideas for celebrating WP25 across communities, and we absolutely loved this traveling flag idea. We're talking about different ways to implement it, which may be slightly different from what you described above but would nonetheless be very much based on your idea. We'll be sharing more details here soon! --ELappen (WMF) (talk) 18:20, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hey ELappen (WMF)
- Thank you so much for your kind message! I'm truly honored that the traveling flag idea resonated with you and the wider community. I'm very excited to see how it will evolve and be adapted as part of the Wikipedia 25 celebrations.
- This initiative has great potential to reach a global audience, especially if we share it widely across all social media platforms and involve public figures or influencers who have a relationship with Wikipedia or free knowledge. For example, in the Arabic-speaking world, we have Ahmed El Ghandour (known as El Da7ee7) from Egypt, whose content often draws from Wikipedia and encourages critical thinking and curiosity.
- Here are a few similar examples from other regions:
- CGP Grey (United Kingdom/USA) – known for educational videos on YouTube that rely heavily on Wikipedia research.
- Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell (Germany) – their science content often cites and supports Wikipedia.
- Veritasium (Australia/Canada) – a popular science communicator who often links to Wikipedia in his content.
- Hossam Heikal (Egypt) – another Arabic educator who regularly references Wikipedia.
- By engaging these kinds of voices, we can make sure that the world talks about Wikipedia—not only as a website, but as a community, a movement, and a shared vision for free knowledge.
- Looking forward to seeing how this project develops, and I'm happy to support in any way I can!

Help us find inspiring stories to share during birthday celebrations
Hello! As we continue planning for this celebration, we are seeking help to identify special, inspiring stories to feature during the 25th birthday year. The stories may be featured in a range of ways, including on social media, in blog posts, on the website, in videos, and more. We are looking for stories about editors and their contributions. We want to show how human passion and collaboration on Wikipedia makes an impact on the world. Please share your ideas using the prompts below as a starting point - they are intentionally broad questions. We are hoping to collect a large list of ideas from as many languages as possible by Tuesday, 23 September.
- (1) What do you think is one of the most interesting Wikipedia articles and/or talk page discussions, and why?
- (2) Who is an editor who has inspired you, and why? For example: Are they passionate about an interesting topic area? Are there impressive metrics on the number of articles they have created? Have they overcome challenges?
- (3) When have you seen the community reach consensus on a highly-debated page (on silly and serious articles and everything in between)?
- (4) When have you seen Wikipedia make a real-world impact?
- (5) Are there any other fascinating facts about an article, editor, community group, etc. you’d like to share? We are looking for any stories that inspire and spark curiosity!
- (6) If you think back at the history of your Wikipedia, what moments stand out as the most important?

- Would you also be open for video calls because writing that down would take much more time, I suppose. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 09:31, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @DerHexer - sure thing! Please email me at ldickinson@wikimedia.org, and we can set up a call. LDickinson (WMF) (talk) 17:05, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
- @LDickinson (WMF): Hoo boy. I've been around here for over 20 years, so I have a list of articles to suggest. I realize this is a pretty large list, but...you did ask :-):
- en:Fati Mariko, en:Joanna Quiner, and en:Fanny Eckerlin: When people ask me which are my favorite articles that I've created, these are usually the three to which I point, for various reason.
- Fati Mariko: I created this one based on a reference in the Scarecrow Historical Dictionary of Niger. She is a massively popular artist in West Africa - I think I read somewhere that she has sold in the hundreds of thousands of albums - and yet before I wrote the article her online footprint consisted exclusively of YouTube videos. Short as this article is, it changed that - I'm quite proud of that point. It shows the new vistas Wikipedia can open with fairly little effort. Especially as the article currently exists in eight different languages.
- Joanna Quiner: I have a degree in art history, and had studied American art as part of that degree, but had never encountered Quiner before a mention in Charlotte Streifer Rubinstein's American Women Sculptors: A History of Women Working in Three Dimensions. She's a fascinating woman - one of only two American female sculptors born in the 18th century whose name remains known, and with a profile different from that of many of her contemporaries. (Briefly: she was one of a handful of women from New England who attempted to make a career in sculpture during the early nineteenth century, but unlike en:Harriet Hosmer, en:Anne Whitney, or en:Edmonia Lewis, she gave up after a few years. Rubinstein, as I recall, posits that this is because she was from the working classes, and so never developed the tools necessary to get ahead as a woman in a male-dominated world. I find her a very interesting counterpart to many of her contemporaries.)
- Fanny Eckerlin: of all the articles I have created, this is one of which I am perhaps the proudest. I began it based on a single-line reference in one of Charles Osborne's books; I later discovered that she warranted an entry in a single operatic dictionary, one which I do not own. Otherwise I developed the entire article myself based on publicly available sources, including a number of contemporary librettos which have been digitized by Italian universities in such a manner as to allow her entire career to be traced with relative ease. I find her an interesting figure for a number of reasons. Most pointedly, she was hardly unimportant in her day, yet she's largely absent from nearly all the regular dictionaries of opera, as are all but the most notable of her contemporaries (en:Giulia Grisi, en:Giuditta Pasta, etc.) And yet she's evidently notable, based on her career. Exactly the kind of person Wikipedia is best-suited to reintroducing into the historical record.
- Honorable mention, as a near-lifelong Virginian and Washington, D.C. resident, to these three: en:Richard Norris Brooke, en:Catharine Carter Critcher, and en:Annie E. A. Walker. All three were painters long resident in Washington, and two were Virginia-born (a point I note with some interest, as Virginia is not known for producing many artists of note.) The first two are among the best articles I think I've ever written. As for the third, I wrote about half of what's there now based on the sources to which I had access; it was fleshed out by another editor, who had access to more material and was able to add it. An excellent example of Wikipedia collaboration at its finest.
- I could, I am sure, come up with others (I wrote a spate of short articles on Washington artists, for instance, many for Women in Red, and I've done a fair amount of work on women in Virginia politics), but I think this is a pretty good overview for now. --Ser Amantio di Nicolao (talk) 05:10, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- Wow, these are great stories. Thank you so much for sharing, @Ser Amantio di Nicolao! LDickinson (WMF) (talk) 17:04, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
- The WikiEmakumeok community group in the Basque Country have done, since 2015, nearly 12000 biographies of women around the world. More than 10000 have been done in basque, by an active group of editors in Durango. In 2025, there are 33,15% biographies of women on Wikipedia in Basque. In 2020, 19% (Source: Humaniki). Mentxuwiki (talk) 17:36, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
- A few ideas on Ukraine:
- Ukraine is a powerhouse in Wiki Loves Monuments. By 2025, the contest in Ukraine gathered over 400,000 photos of Ukraine's cultural monuments. Perhaps even more importantly, a volunteer team of Wiki Loves Monuments has created (and continues to build up) a unique database of all of Ukraine's cultural monuments, with over 100,000+ entries.
- Various stories of Ukrainian Wikimedians during Russia's invasion, particularly the one on editing Wikipedia from a bomb shelter in a frontline city
- In 2024, Wikimedia Ukraine awarded ~40 Ukrainian community members who've made the biggest contribution to Ukrainian Wikipedia in its first 20 years – from the mining scientist who created 27,000 articles over 18 years to the financial manager who’s made the most edits, to the teacher who founded a wiki club in her hometown. (We haven't published a detailed story on everyone but happy to connect with anyone).
- A story on how Wikipedia helped restore historical justice --AntonProtsiuk (WMUA) (talk) 05:41, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- I may not be able to answer all of these questions, since my Wikipedia journey began only three years ago. But I am happy to share my own story.
- Three years ago, I started learning how to edit Wikipedia within a project, and my main teacher and mentor, User:Jamshid Nurkulov, became a wiki-idol for me☺️. Even though he often spoke in an irritable and unfriendly tone, I always smiled at him and kept asking for help. He patiently explained things and even late at night he would reply to my messages. Knowing that he liked writing about places of worship on Wikipedia, I gave him a book called “The History of Karmana” (my mentor was born in Karmana). Later, this gift helped him to implement the Wiki Loves Monuments project in Uzbekistan. As I was learning from him, he too started to become better, and eventually, he became a very important person in my life. All of my activities and achievements on Wikipedia are thanks to my mentor, and I cannot imagine Wikimedia without him😇.
- My first good article was uz:Onna-musha. At that time, there was a strange quarrel. We did not yet have a clear agreement on how names should be written. On top of that, I didn’t fully know the rules yet, and I submitted an article I didn’t really want as a featured article candidate, just as an experiment. (In fact, it should have been the article on Korean culture in that place.) When the article went up for good article status, I was told that names should be written with w as in English. I went through and changed everything one by one. Later, another admin (my own mentor) said that it should be written with v, because for Japanese names English spelling should not be used. So I changed everything back to v. This discussion went on for quite some time. Then a third admin came and asked me to prove whether these forms existed on websites. I was shocked🤯... how could I prove it? Should I send screenshots to the admin? That was the last straw, and I even voted against my own nomination. It was the saddest and most foolish thing I had ever done😄. My mentor, Jamshid Nurkulov, condemned this decision, explained things properly, and told me not to do such things — that the article could reach featured status. He even stayed up all night helping me edit it. The article really did reach featured status, and I will never forget that it came at the cost of my nerves and tears😄.
- The most heated and terrible discussion in the community right now is around UCoC, and its decision will define my future activity in Wikipedia (in terms of trust)😶.
- If someone asked me about my favorite article on Wikipedia, I wouldn’t be able to choose one. But I really love the article on the uz:Qizil panda (Red panda), which I created through translation. I have taken it to featured status, this time without tears😁, so that it could be widely read. One day I will definitely travel to China to see these endangered animals in person☺️.
- Wikipedia has always been present in my life☺️. Because of it, I have cried, laughed, been upset, loved, made friends, and even gained enemies. The greatest achievement I have gained through Wikipedia is my mentor, Jamshid Nurkulov (I even consider him more valuable than the awards I have received in various projects😁😁😁).
- My happiest moments in Uzbek Wikipedia are the days I spent at WikiCamps and the day we celebrated the 20th birthday of Uzbek Wikipedia together. That day was the most wonderful one. Another special day was when I received admin rights, which coincided with the same day I successfully defended my bachelor’s thesis with top marks.
- Wikipedia (and other sister projects) have deeply integrated into my life. I celebrate my birthdays either at WikiCamps or at Wikimania events, and I truly love it❤️❤️❤️. Panpanchik (talk) 08:57, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- From the history of North-West Russia Wiki-Historians User Group (Екатерина Борисова and Красный can share more details if it will be needed, the UG did it without me):
- Wiki moves trains
- There is a river in Southwest Karelia called Janisjoki and it has many interesting locations around so we've decided to make a Wikivoyage article on it even regarding it wasn't considered as a place good for guidebook before. Doing that we've established bunch of contacts with local historians and experts in area, one of them has joined and still active.
- In the next tourist season after this we've noticed that this area started to appear in travel-blogs with descriptions like "look what hidden gem I've found". This area is located near Sortavala town and Ruskeala national park that was already rather popular and went from poor and empty locations in 2010 to fancy tourist places now and these blog posts have lead to noticeable increase of tours around and along Janisjoki that, afterwards, forced Russian Railways to bring back suburban train route through area that was closed since 2012.
- Wiki brings monuments
- In July 2022 we made an photographic expedition to Luzhsky District of Leningrad Oblast and found bunch of 1900-ish Art nouveau buildings along Oredezh railway station, that weren't under government protection as cultural heritage. After a small chat with inhabitants we acknowledged that buildings are planned for demolition.
- Later, at August 2022, at the meetup of cultural heritage activists this topic was brought up and some of them applied these buildings for a cultural heritage status, that was granted in May 2023. Lvova (talk) 21:41, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- In 2011, a sculpture group called “Zodchie” (“The Architects”) was installed in Saint Petersburg. One of the architects depicted is Jean-François Thomas de Thomon. For several years, however, his Wikipedia article was mistakenly illustrated not with his portrait, but with that of the chemist Thomas Thomson. The sculptor, using an internet image search, took this portrait for de Thomon — and ended up depicting the wrong person in bronze. reliable source Lvova (talk) 21:58, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- In general, these questions create a feeling of unfairness. We know that AI is trained on Wikipedia, our texts and articles are used in different contexts, but we usually don’t know in which ones. Or, for example, I know that I brought the article about Saint Patrick (in Russian) to featured status, and in 2020 a passage from it was used when releasing a style for a tank in World of Tanks. Is that an influence on the real world, or not really? :) Lvova (talk) 22:03, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oh right, it’s also easy to recall stories like “when we organized the protest against SOPA, many other Runet websites joined us.” That was a clear influence on the real world, but something celebratory is needed as well. Lvova (talk) 22:16, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Five women who aren't on Wikipedia but should be imho an interesting topic.
- en:Wikipedia Monument.
- The Wikipedia globe was installed in front of the venue where the CEE Meeting 2016 was to be held. The sculpture which weighs more than a ton was created by diver's club "ArmDiving" to be later sunk to the bottom of the Lake Sevan and serve as an artificial reef. Lvova (talk) 22:23, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
Monarufino (talk) 18:20, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
- My community story which I want to share:
- My journey with Wikipedia began with a realization that changed how I looked at knowledge. One day, while searching for information in Hindi, I noticed how limited the content was compared to English Wikipedia. Many important articles on culture, history, and even technology were either incomplete or missing. It struck me that for millions of people who prefer or rely on Hindi, access to reliable knowledge was far from equal. This was not just a missing article problem, it was a gap in opportunity, in learning, and in representation. That moment stayed with me, and I felt a strong responsibility to do something about it.
- As one of the active organizers of WikiClub Tech India, I decided to take action. I organized a meetup focused on Hindi Wikipedia, inviting people who were curious about contributing. To make the experience meaningful, we invited an experienced Hindi Wikimedian, Abhinav, who guided participants with patience and clarity. I still remember the energy in the room as people made their first edits, many of them realizing for the first time that they could shape the knowledge others read. Today, several of those participants are active contributors, helping Hindi Wikipedia grow steadily. This would not have been possible without the support of Rachit Sharma, the admins of Hindi Wikipedia, and the WikiClub Tech India team, so a heartfelt thanks to all of them.
- Later, I also recognized another gap in the Wikimedia technical ecosystem. Alongside WikiClub Tech India, I helped create a community to address it, building tools and spaces that strengthen Wikimedia’s technical side. From being a contributor to becoming an organizer, my journey has been transformative. More about this journey is shared in my medium blog. Hridyesh Gupta (talk) 14:45, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- Here is a personal story:
I mostly edit biography articles on the Turkish Wikipedia. This year, during a festival, I had the chance to meet Feride Çiçekoğlu — a writer whom I admire and respect deeply, and whose Wikipedia article I had previously edited.
I asked her whether she had ever read her Wikipedia article. She replied, “No, I don’t read things written about me on the internet,” and then asked, “Is there something bad written? Is that why you’re asking?” I reassured her that nothing negative was there, and explained that I had edited the article and wanted to ask if she sees any factual errors or important missing details.
We — along with a friend — ended up having a wonderful conversation about Wikipedia, literature, cinema, and many other topics. Then, quite suddenly, she said she was now curious about the article and asked for a few minutes to read it.
I watched her as she read, and was thrilled to see her genuinely impressed. She told me she was surprised by the attention to detail — such as how her mother’s very unusual maiden name was spelled correctly, something even family members often get wrong. She also appreciated how the article accurately reflected that her political views were shaped during her time in the United States — a detail often misunderstood, as most people assume those views were formed during her university years in Ankara. Later, she brought me one of her books, autographed with a note thanking me for the sensitivity shown in writing biographies of living people. That moment is a very precious memory for me.--Basak (talk) 11:15, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- This is just unforgettable conversation for me. I wish it would stay here.
I made my very first edits on Wikipedia three years ago. At that time, Wikipedia felt to me like nothing more than a simple information source, no different from any other website.
One day, through unrelated work, I happened to meet one of the administrators of the Uzbek Wikipedia. We started talking about our interests, ideas, art, literature, and many other things. During our conversation, I told him: “When a person comes into this world, they should live with a great idea, one that contributes to making the world more beautiful.” Then I asked him, “Do you have such a great idea for yourself?” He replied, “Of course. My great idea is Wikipedia.”
I wasn’t satisfied with his answer. I said: “How can that be? I am asking about something bigger, an idea powerful enough to change the world, to inspire people to follow you, and to truly make a difference. How can your answer be Wikipedia? That doesn’t sound like a great idea.”
But his response stayed with me forever. He said: “You are mistaken. Wikipedia is much bigger than you think. And I believe it can indeed be a great idea. The difference between it and the ideologies you have in mind is that Wikipedia never harms anyone. It only shares knowledge that benefits people. You spoke about art and literature. With Wikipedia, you can bring those very things to others. If a photo you took and uploaded, a piece of information you added, or a map you uploaded helps even a single person, that is already an achievement. Now imagine this multiplied by billions, billions of people searching for knowledge. If that is not a great idea, then what is?”
From that day on, I began to look at Wikipedia differently. I could no longer treat it lightly. Today, I cannot imagine giving it up, because it has itself become my great idea. Every time I create a new article about something precious to me, every time I upload photos of the historic buildings I love to Wikimedia Commons, and especially every time someone asks me about Wikipedia, I remember that conversation. And for that, I will always remain deeply grateful to that person. Miss Kamola (talk) 07:03, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- Some thoughts from Black Lunch Table's photobooth
Black Lunch Table’s Photobooth initiative has traveled across the country, capturing images of Black visual artists, scholars, and creators alike. Open to all, the photobooth encourages participants to have a portrait taken by a professional photographer, which is then uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. Not only does the program leave attendees with a professional portrait, but it also creates a space for education about Wikipedia, public editorship, and filling in knowledge gaps. Artists often use these images in their real lives as headshots, press photos, and images for their “about” pages on their personal websites. Some examples of BLT Photobooth portraits being used as infobox images include those of Dindga McCannon and Abigail DeVille. We hope that these portraits inspire articles and edits to broaden the scope of artists' pages on Wikipedia. -- Salix1999 (talk) 08:38, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
Road To Wiki
As Wikipedia and the broader Wikimedia movement continue to democratize knowledge globally, the Road to Wiki program stands out as a powerful testament to community empowerment and technological growth. This initiative, spearheaded by WikiClub Tech, in collaboration with the Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group (IMUG) and CIS-A2K, and supported by the Wikimedia Foundation, was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry experience. Its central mission: to empower students across India to contribute directly to the open-source MediaWiki ecosystem.
The initiative effectively bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry demands by immersing students in the core MediaWiki stack. This included a hands-on MediaWiki installation task (achieved by over 50 students) and expert-led masterclasses in critical technologies like SQL, PHP (for creating extensions), and Python/Flask API. Participants also gained crucial experience tackling multilingual computational challenges.
Key Impact Metrics
- 250+ students engaged across 7 institutions in Road to Wiki Program
- 48 students selected for Cohort 1; 20 students successfully graduated from the program
- 7+ technical training sessions conducted by industry experts
- Cross-community collaborations with Meta Open Source, IIIT Hyderabad, C4GT, GDG, TensorFlow User Group, and Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group
- 30+ tasks merged in Phabricator in one year
- 6 students selected for Wikimedia Technology Summit
- 7 students selected for Indic Wikimedia Hackathon, Bhubaneswar 2024
- 1 student selected for Wikimedia Hackathon 2025

From Argentina!
Thinking about the activities I've participated in since 2020, I'd like to share a few moments. Reconnecting with colleagues, peers, and friends in wiki spaces led to the creation of our Wikibandada group, from which we've carried out a series of activities that we consider worth sharing:
• We participated in a training session with the Misiones Entomology Program, and that interaction, in addition to bringing more users closer to the wiki world, transformed into a new team linked to Wikimedia Argentina, with its own projects and activities.
• Another example was the work we've been doing with biographies of women... although we started with the La Plata Museum, we joined the Pioneras initiative of the Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences (MACN) and another similar initiative at the Darwinion Institute of Botany... thus, we have not only managed to add more biographies to Wikipedia, but also photos to Wikimedia Commons and quality information to Wikidata. In addition to this interaction, another focus of work has emerged today, alongside a project funded by Wikimedia Argentina and carried out by a member of the MACN Pioneras team.
• Regarding initiatives that include academia + participatory science, we have collaborated with the Vaquitas Project, editing content on Wikipedia, adding images (from iNaturalist) to Wikimedia Commons… it is important to remember that Wikipedia species articles are used in iNaturalist as information content for the user.
• Finally, and speaking from my workspace (I manage the Argentine node of the Global Bidiversity Information Facility - GBIF), I have managed to strengthen the interactions between the GBIF community and Wikimedia projects: thanks to the support of Wikimedia Argentina, the Museo del Fin del Mundo (Ushuaia) has managed to start uploading images of its herbarium specimens, with structured metadata to Wikimedia Commons and relate them to the data published in GBIF…it is a modest beginning, but I see a great future of interrelation between both initiatives.

In addition to anything you'll be organizing locally, feel free to encourage people to also sign up for the January 15 hour-long virtual birthday party - it will be a lot of fun. We'll have live interpretation into Arabic and French. ELappen (WMF) (talk) 18:10, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
Favorite historical moment or fun fact to weave into Jan 15 event?
We are working on the run of show now for the January 15 virtual birthday celebration. Drop a note here if there are any fun milestones, moments, fun facts that you'd like for us to shout out to! We mentioned a number of things on Diff as a teaser, and are happy to incorporate suggestions. ELappen (WMF) (talk) 18:05, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- A small correction to that list: VisualEditor might have been released in 2015, but it was made generally available and was widely used beginning in 2013, per en:Wikipedia:VisualEditor#About VisualEditor and this blog post. There's also an English Wikipedia main namespace article about it. Graham87 (talk) 05:43, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks @Graham87! I agree the timeline isn't as crisp as the post makes it sound. We used this as the source. I've now edited the Diff post to align better with the source language, and also linked the source in the post in case people want to read more about the progress in the preceding years. Mastodon
I suggest to
- change "Bluesky and Twitter" with "Bluesky, Mastodon and Twitter" in Wikipedia_25/Celebration_toolkit#Digital_swag
- add Mastodon in Wikipedia_25/Celebration_toolkit/Social_Media#Share_existing_posts

Done You could also edit the page yourself. Note that there's no Mastodon post linked under "Share existing posts" so if there's one and you know where it, you could link it there. Prototyperspective (talk) 22:49, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
Use of the Event Registration tool - on Meta or on local Wikipedias?
Hello @DSaroyan (WMF) @CKoerner (WMF),
For organizers who received a WP25 grant, I read that it is mandatory to create an event using the Event Registration tool. I wanted to ask you if we must create the events on meta.wikimedia.org or if we can do it on our local language Wikipedia.
For example, since our onsite events are mostly targetted at Italian Wikipedia editors and since itwp has the Event Registration extension enabled, could we create the events on itwp?
Thanks a lot for your guidance! Best, Auregann (talk) 16:44, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hello @Auregann, thank you for your question. Yes, please go ahead and create the event on the Italian Wikipedia instead of Meta-Wiki if the Event Registration tool is enabled. DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 16:49, 5 December 2025 (UTC)

Proposed wiki logo does not look good in practice

Hi, everyone! I've recently read up on the (now archived) discussion on having a Wikipedia 25 logo for en:Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)/Archive 223#Wikipedia 25th anniversary landing page and visual changes. I was thinking of raising that discussion again on the English Wikipedia to have a logo change done soon (last deployment day is on December 18, so we have only two weeks left!) but it turns out that the current "proposed" logo does not look good in practice.
Wordmarks and taglines on Vector 2022 (the default skin) and Minerva (the mobile skin) have a maximum width of 140px. This, in turn, makes the tagline look particularly small. An especially bad case exists for Vector 2022, where the tagline will be pushed uncomfortably close to the top left corner if the Wikipedia globe logo is not there to support it. Display on Minerva looks good enough, I don't think anything needs changing there. Noting here that we're limited to changing the SVGs as they appear on Commons for Vector 2022: the Vector 2022 logo is composed of three distinct images: the icon, wordmark, and tagline. We can't rearrange them; we can only change them. Changes to the layout of the logo will require changes to the Vector 2022 skin, and such a change will have to be reviewed before 1.46.0-wmf.7 starts rolling out on December 15.
Also, it seems like the proposed logo only exists for Vector 2022 and Minerva. For a significant number of editors who use Vector Legacy, Timeless, and Monobook, there is simply no Wikipedia 25 logo for them, as this requires a square-like logo (specifically 135x155 px). Does the Foundation plan on providing that logo or should we design something on our own instead? Perhaps something similar to the banner or icon set? Chlod (say hi!) 05:40, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- Pinging @BMcnally-WMF, who was involved in the English Wikipedia discussion a month ago, for your attention. Chlod (say hi!) 05:46, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- HI Chlod! Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention and for trying out the logo proposal. Just so I fully understand your concern is that the current logo proposal size is not working and in order for it to fit correctly the width needs to be max 140PX? Is there a specific dimension you recommend for this? Also, I can of course create a logo in 135x135px for Vector Legacy, Timeless and Monobook! BMcnally-WMF (talk) 12:06, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
- @BMcnally-WMF: Yes, the maximum width is 140px, or at least, it should still look good enough when rescaled to that size (maintaining aspect ratio). Additional requirements were that they need to be uploaded on Commons and that they need to be SVGs. I've reuploaded the individual components to follow that (see wordmark, tagline). Currently, the tagline appears too small when rescaled to 140px max width. I think besides the square-ish logo for Vector Legacy et al, that's all. Chlod (say hi!) 14:24, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hey Chlod! Thank you so much for uploading these individual assets! I will get on this asap and have something to share by end of this week / first thing Monday. :) BMcnally-WMF (talk) 09:49, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for your work! Regarding the tagline, if nothing else works, would it be possible to put it on two lines? Alternatively, shortening it to "25 years of free encyclopedia" could be an option. For the Vector Legacy logo, instead of the icon set (which would be way too busy at that scale), I'm thinking of simply replacing the globe with the "25" puzzle piece? As a Vector Legacy user myself, I would be pretty happy with that! Chaotic Enby (talk) 17:29, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- I feel like a community approval rate would be pretty low if it were just the puzzle piece; it's just two elements: a puzzle piece and a 25. Hence the icon set or something similar: it could add variety to the logo and give it more life. That said, I'm open to anything else, maybe someone at the design team has a better idea. I remember on Wikipedia 20 we had four rectangles of various icons; which is why I thought of the icon set first. Chlod (say hi!) 17:38, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Chlod, as promised here are some updated svgs! WP25 logo for Vector 2022 and WP25_Vector Legacy.
- I also uploaded them separately using 140px width. You can find them here, WP25_Logo and the WP25_Logoline Please let me know how these work :) BMcnally-WMF (talk) 17:27, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot! However, at that resolution, it isn't clear that the globe puzzle is a puzzle instead of an oddly pixelated globe. Are there any other alternatives? Chaotic Enby (talk) 17:37, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- It seems like the wordmark and tagline also have a buffer space around them. You don't have to worry about buffer spaces since they both already have margins built into the layout, and they'll only make the logos appear even smaller than they should. See c:File:Wikipedia-wordmark-la.svg and c:File:Wikipedia-tagline-de.svg for reference. Chlod (say hi!) 19:13, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Aside from this, you might also want to follow foundation:Legal:Wikimedia trademarks/Word mark creation#Wikipedia wordmark creation grid (and that page in general) for proper scaling of the logo relative to the wordmark and tagline size for the legacy logo version. Chlod (say hi!) 19:19, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hey Chlod! I have amended the svgs removing the border around them. Hopefully these will work better :) BMcnally-WMF (talk) 16:52, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Chaotic Enby, @BMcnally-WMF: I've made some minor changes to the SVGs to fit how we display them on MediaWiki wikis, and I've updated the preview at the top of this thread (or click here to view). Thoughts? Chlod (say hi!) 18:21, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Chlod: Looks good for V22/Minerva, although again, the V10 logo looks more like a retro-style pixelated globe than a set of puzzle pieces. Chaotic Enby (talk) 18:30, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- My concern with the puzzle globe is that it might give off the wrong impression that we're switching to the "new" logo (permanently) because it's our 25th anniversary, and we're gonna be the next target of the complaints about logo oversimplification. If anything, we probably should just keep the current Wikipedia globe; just change the wordmark and tagline. Chlod (say hi!) 18:57, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- Well, I guess that's up to the community of the English Wikipedia to decide in the end. Chlod (say hi!) 18:57, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Wikipedia 25 GIFs - Giphy stickers
Dear Brand Studio Team,
First of all, thank you very much for the Wikipedia 25/Celebration toolkit, this page and all the resources are very valuable.
I have a question regarding the GIFs. For Wikipedia 20, several GIFs have been uploaded to Giphy as stickers. Would it be possible to do the same for this anniversary? I am still using some of the old stickers regularly for Instagram stories and I believe the new ones could be great to have moving forward. Elodie Dincuff (WMCH) (talk) 10:47, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

- Enjoy! BMcnally-WMF (talk) 10:00, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
Registration problem
I will host an anniversary editathon in Japanese Wikipedia on 10 January, but I couldn't register my event for this page. Japanese Wikipedia does not have an 'Event' space. What should I do to register my event for this page? --saebou (talk) 14:08, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- @さえぼー: The event namespace is available globally; it also exists on Japanese Wikipedia, see ja:特別:NamespaceInfo. According to ja:特別:利用者グループ権限, local administrators can assign the イベント主催者 (event-organizer) right to any user who can then create an event in the Event: namespace for managing new events. Please try it out! :) Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 16:14, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- Technically it exists, but I don't think there is any page in the 'Event' space in Japanese Wikipedia. All the event pages in Japanese Wikipedia are prepared in the 'Wikipedia' space, and no one uses the 'Event' space. If I would like to create a new page in a new space, maybe I will have to ask the community about whether I can do it or not.--saebou (talk) 16:28, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- Technical issues show up when events are not created in the Event: namespace but in any other space like Wikipedia:. We faced the same problems on German Wikipedia and just decided to create the Event: pages. Partly, they can even be included in Wikipedia: pages. But why wouldn't you want to use the designated namespace for events? I'm pretty sure that the community will understand that. :) Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 16:45, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks @DerHexer for your responses. Hi @saebou a) event registration is allowed in the event OR wikipedia namespace on japanese wikipedia, as shown in ja:特別:CommunityConfiguration/CampaignEvents, and b) events in non-event namespace have registration enabled a bit differently, and instructions can be found here: Steps for an organizer to add event registration to a permitted namespace that is not the event namespace. and c) just as rightly pointed out by @DerHexer you still need to get the event organizer right from the Japanese wikipedia admins to be able to use the event registration tool on Japanese wikipedia. Hope this helps -- Udehb-WMF (talk) 18:13, 6 January 2026 (UTC)

Initial map load doesn't show all locations
I have observed and tried this on multiple computers before reporting this bug. The first time this map is loaded on the page, it only shows a select few location pins. After forcing it with a page purge, it shows all the location pins. Anybody knows why this behaviour is happening? OhanaUnitedTalk page 01:26, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
- I need to look into this a little more, but I think it might be some interaction between the Module used to create the map and that the /Events page is marked for translation. Something to do with how the page is cached. Chris Koerner (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 16:47, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks. I am using Firefox browser. OhanaUnitedTalk page 00:25, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- I was wrong. It wasn't an interaction with the translation and cache. It looks like there was an issue with how the module constructed the map. I was seeing 400 and 403 errors for what were seemingly random locations, but was actually the system giving an error after a certain number of pins. I've updated the Module and in my testing no longer see the 400/403 errors. Now all pins are appearing consistently. At least, I hope! :) Chris Koerner (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 16:37, 6 January 2026 (UTC)

- Still broken. When I refresh the page, I can get a glimpse of all the pins for about a quarter of a second while the map is zoomed in somewhat before showing the whole map with some pins missing. OhanaUnitedTalk page 06:04, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Design your own Wikipedia 25 banner missing puzzle parts
Is there a design reason that the banner (Design your own Wikipedia 25 banner) template's upper left quadrant isn't a puzzle piece? It seems incongruous with the rest of that banner as well as all the other branding items. CMD (talk) 10:01, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- We try to avoid containing a puzzle piece within another puzzle piece. Since the upper left quadrant contains the WP25 logo which already includes a puzzle piece, we have made the design choice to make it a square. JMcRae-WMF (talk) 07:42, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

The global community has created their own logo to celebrate WP25, for example, logo for Vector 2010 (enwiki, kzwiki and itwiki). It is expected that there will be more designs created by the community, including the logo. So, I am wondering if it is possible to have a list / table to collect these logos and designs in the Celebration toolkit or other pages, or link to the category which collect these designs. This way, other communities can refer to these designs and create or translate their own. Thanks. SCP-2000 06:45, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

- Yes. If there is a category of another designs in future, I think it can also be linked. Thanks. SCP-2000 12:49, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
- Not a bad idea. I added a link to the commons category Una tantum mentioned to the relevant section. Chris Koerner (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 15:57, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

Looking for sticker designs
Hi, I’m looking for round and square sticker designs, if available. Additionally, please ensure that all graphics are provided in SVG format, so they can be printed at larger sizes if needed. Thank you. : Suyash Dwivedi (💬) 19:45, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hey @Suyash.dwivediThanks for reaching out! You can find all our icons here https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Wikipedia_25_icons_(blue) We also have them in white and black too. You can find both pngs and svgs. There are also loads of companies that will make bespoke sticker packs, https://stickerapp.com as an example. Have fun :) BMcnally-WMF (talk) 10:49, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
Problem with wikipedia25.org's "share results" feature
Apologies if this is not the right place for this, feel free to delete this topic and/or send me a message.
At the end of the quiz in the wikipedia25 website, there is a button to share results. After clicking it, we are shown the options to "copy link", and share to Facebook, Bluesky and via email. Clicking "copy link" will just copy the url "https://wikipedia25.org/en/which-wikipedia-of-the-future-are-you/result" to the user's clipboard. This does not really contain the result of any specific user's quiz, and a new user, upon accessing the url, will probably just be redirected to the beginning of the quiz. This does not appear to be the intended functioning of the feature.
I am willing to try to fix this issue, but I was not able to find out if the page is opensource, or if there is any way to contribute fixes. What can be done about this? Ice5678 (talk) 02:50, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Ice5678: This was reported more than a week ago at T414720. No WMF employees responded to it yet, though. NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh 03:10, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
- Understood, thank you for the info. Ice5678 (talk) 03:40, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you so much for taking the quiz and for taking the time to write up this bug. We are working on a fix for this, but don't have a solution quite yet. This should hopefully be fixed in our next bug fix release. Thank you for your patience. CMadeo (WMF) (talk) 01:51, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
Logos for dark mode
Big question: are logos for dark mode necessary? In Wikipedia_25/Celebration_toolkit#The_Wikipedia_25_logo_and_how_to_use_it is never suggested to create a logo for this appearence, but it is available for readers/anonymous users too. If necessary, it could be provided a dark mode logo as example, please? Una tantum (talk) 08:40, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
- CC @CKoerner_(WMF). Una tantum (talk) 17:10, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Una tantum Thank you for your question and i'm sorry for the delayed response. We have created these logos in white for dark mode specifically! You can find them here

doodle
i think that now it's too late but i think is good to write here as reminder (maybe for 30years bday). Why not have a personalized Google Doodle made for us for the special occasion? I mean... it would give great visibility GiovanniPen (talk) 19:24, 28 January 2026 (UTC)

- Hi @GiovanniPen, we'd love to see a Google Doodle for the Wikipedia's birthday! We tried to make it happen for the 15th, 20th, and the 25th, but it was declined, unfortunately. We might try again next time! --LTraer (WMF) (talk) 18:15, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
Music from the virtual birthday party
"Hello, World!" has been stuck in my head since watching the virtual birthday party yesterday. According to the credits, the song is under CC BY-SA 4.0. Are there any plans to upload the song to Commons and/or music streaming platforms? Same question may apply for "Cyklepedia" from the Open Reel Ensemble, which writes that it's released under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license immediately after the performance. Chlod (say hi!) 05:43, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hey @Chlod! :) The plan is to upload the video of the whole party to Commons, as well as the video segments Hello World, Cyklepedia, Talk on Talk, and the Cake Song. Based on your comment, I've also now requested the audio file for Hello World so that I can upload that separately, since I think that music works as a standalone piece too! For Cyklepedia, my sense is that you kind of need the video in order to follow it and that the audio alone wouldn't have the same impact. Let me know if this plan makes sense to you! ELappen (WMF) (talk) 19:55, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
- Makes sense to me, @ELappen (WMF), thanks! :) Chlod (say hi!) 04:04, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- i think/agree that it would be great to have the only audio files uploaded, yes GiovanniPen (talk) 19:26, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hey again both! This is a bit delayed (was out of office for a bit) but just closing the loop that both the audio and video files for Hello World are on Commons, as is Cyklepedia and others! ELappen (WMF) (talk) 22:25, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, @ELappen (WMF)! :D Chlod (say hi!) 16:03, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

Birthday mode expansion by one month until May 6th, please
I am unsurprised that Birthday mode, prototyped by @BaduFerreira, has rolled out to less Wikipedias than anticipated, nearly as it feels like it is only on English Wikipedia, I understand it ends April 6th and I desire an expansion by one month. Brief description below:
- Birthday mode, prototyped by @BaduFerreira, has only released to few Wikipedias, nearly as if it was only available on English Wikipedia.
- The feature is available starting February 15, 2026, until April 6th, 2026
- I am ambitiously writing a decent licensed short fan animation.
- I have to ask you for this license for this fan animation. That means that I need permission to reanimate the 25th anniversary mascot for the storyboard and final production.
- I plan on "investing" on a MacBook Air and get hiring to found a Apple Motion computer animation studio
- If I can approve of Alexander Polinsky, the voice of "Jelly" from animated television slapstick Breadwinners, I can hire him.
