Talk:Wikisource coordination of documentation, practices and solutions

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

A BIG work![edit]

When comparing itwikisource with other projects, I'm going very frustrated; "divergent evolution" among projects is really huge and increasing, and I'm very sorry about my personal contribution to that drift. I'll wait and see for contents of this new page. --Alex brollo (talk) 20:58, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you @Alex brollo:. Be bold if you think you can contribute in any way on the page itself. If you think that there are documentation resources available on any wikisource version that would worth a transfer on Meta where they could be internationalized to enable translation, please provide a list. IMHO the work could begin with a statement about basics of "general approach" to sources of various wikisource projects, i.e. proofread vs naked texts, policy about original text content details, text formatting, images, pagination, original user contributions (annotations, translations....). Tools, templates, scripts are strictly dependent from general approach. --Alex brollo (talk) 11:13, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
