It is an interesting project, but I wonder if Wikimedia is the best incubator for that... It would be better suited to Metabrainz Foundation which has multiple projects related to music like MusicBrainz, ListenBrainz, CritiqueBrainz, and so on. BTW, MusicBrainz already covers many of the requirements you listed like "genre and sub genres, the author/writer, the singers and other contributors", "partial or complete list of instruments used in it", "duration", ... There are hundreds of encyclopedias online; But what make wikipedia the largest, popular and the most dynamic is 'a set of guidelines, principles and values which are coherent, categoric and comprehensive, all put together in one place' which makes it appealing for billions of people. So an analysis platform for such a domain/field as potential/vast as music from wikimedia is desirable than from anywhere else. - Vaikunda Raja (talk) 07:12, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
