It should have some basic explanation of the purpose of Wiktionary ('to define all words in all languages') and that difference between the Wiktionaries is what language they are in, not what words to define. I don't know quite how to do it though. --Eean 01:27, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Capitalisation[edit]

We write the names of languages here as they are written in that language. Is it not silly to have language names in a language capitalised when that language does not do that ??

Portal search leads to wikipedia![edit]

Could someone fix the problem with the search (on the wiktionary portal)? When searching for a word on the left side ("Go" and "Search") you are sent to wikipedia and not to wiktionary!! Please correct this. ;-) -- 217.84.101.80 20:49, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Um, seriously...[edit]

When is Ido going to be added to the search bar on the front? It's been over 10000 since May, and now it's the 4th biggest Wiktionary in terms of articles. I've asked for this no fewer than six times already and have NEVER received an answer, an explanation, nothing. I mean, if there's a reason at least state it. Den fria ordlistan...[edit]
