Usage[edit]

Alternative account policy
This template confirms that the user is familiar with Wikipedia policy on using multiple accounts and the account will not be used for sock puppetry.

This template can be used on user pages to show people that the account is used to maintain security on public computers. It links to the actual user's page and their talk page.

This template will correct itself based on the gender set in the preferences of your real user account (i.e. in the sentence "Please contact Example to inform them that this account has been compromised ", "them" will change to "him" or "her").

Parameters[edit]

This template has a username parameter. This code:

Will produce:

This user is an alternative account for Example.

There is also a site parameter used to specify what the account should be editing. This defaults to "Wikipedia". For example:
