[edit]- On Friday, 5th August 2022, the Usergroup shared an opening for an Accountant position. The short-notice call was closed on Monday, 5th August 2022, with seven applications received.
- The process and successful candidates were meant to be announced by 10th August 2022; however, due to the annual Wikimania conference, this was delayed by a week. Updates were shared on the meta page.
- The hiring process, selection, and interviews were conducted by Board-selected representative(s), who worked closely with the Finance and Administration team to select a suitable candidate.
- If the selected candidate had never volunteered with the Usergroup for a specific period of time, and depending on the duration of volunteering, they were required to undergo an internship before any job offer.
- Due to unavoidable delays, the successful candidates and the selection criteria were shared by October 2022.
