Merge[edit]

I propose do merge Template:Tnavbar and Template:Navbar: these same comtent; source templates in en-wp is merged. Any objections? --Kaganer (talk) 14:27, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest to merge Template:Navbar to this template, as the Template:Tnavbar is translatable. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 07:39, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Error message[edit]

In Meetup/UK/Footer list, this template is used as follows:

{{{{TNTN|tnavbar}}|:Meetup/UK/Footer list|plain=1|mini=1|style=float:right|fontstyle=}}

but this throws an error when previewing:

Warning: Template:Tnavbar/en is calling Template:Tnavbar/layout with more than one value for the "" parameter. Only the last value provided will be used.

What causes this, and can it be fixed? I got stuck at Template:Translatable template name where the presence of {{#invoke:Template translation}} told me that Lua is going on, something which I cannot trace through. --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 15:53, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Redrose64: Template:Tnavbar/en (which is essentially Template:Tnavbar without the translate tags making the base template far less readable) has a number of #ifs causing it to use the same |=... parameter code many times on untranslated pages if the given parameters are empty or not present. If the warning is very annoying, we can change it to use parameter names garbage1, garbage2 etc., but I think it’s easier to just ignore the warning message. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 17:52, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
