The Wikipedia Library/Newsletter/January-February 2026
In this issue we highlight new partnerships, thanks for participating in our user survey, and, as always, a roundup of news and community items related to libraries and digital knowledge.
New partnerships
[edit]The Wikipedia Library is announcing new partnerships:
- e-Marefa is an Arabic e-database with academic periodicals, dissertations and e-books, considered one of the largest global databases interested in the Arab content and information industry.
- Harvard Business Review is a leadership and management magazine published by Harvard Business Publishing.
- The News Minute is a digital news platform reporting and writing on issues in India, with a specific focus on the five southern states.
- Newslaundry is an Indian platform providing media critique, reportage, and commentary.
User survey
[edit]Thanks to all those who responded to our user survey! We sent a survey to all eligible users who had previously accessed The Wikipedia Library to get an understanding of how people are using the library and how it may be improved. We received nearly 5,000 responses, far exceeding our expectations and giving us a lot of information to analyse. The survey is now closed, and we hope to share results from this survey in a future issue.
