As an executor of previously mentioned projects, one of my essential assignments was to provide funds, which gave me plenty of experience as a grantee. In Wikimedia movement I’ve accomplished numerous funded applications, and it made me one of the leaders in WMF grant process. On the other hand, my experience in several advisory and financial committees and boards enhanced my knowledge of being a good granter. I am active member of both IEG and GAC, and grant committee for micro grants in Wikimedia Serbia as well. Being a member of these bodies, I had opportunity to encounter different individual and group plans and programs, and understand their differences. My experience in GAC was important enough to contribute as the only independent respondent in creation of “Grants: Retrospective 2009-2012”, written by Kevin Gorman.
