I have been involved in the Grant Advisory Committee and the Movement roles project, I have gained a deep understanding of the Wikimedia movement and seen it refined to a more responsible movement. I was also involved in creating a Kenyan chapter and participated in the Swahili Wikipedia Challenge, Google Health Speaks project and the Wikipedia for Schools Project (in Kenya & Tanzania), and I can therefore relate to most programmatic plans carried out by smaller chapters, especially those in the Global South.
