Since this case is misleadingly entitled "Suspected abuse of power", I would like to state for the record that I have never used any admin powers in respect to FtT. His TBAN on Wikivoyage was proposed, closed and implemented by another admin. I'm not an admin on WP, but FtT himself started the AN/I thread on WP that lead to his indef block there.

My stance on this is well summed up by Tamzin's comment in that thread: "while this isn't the worst harassment I've ever seen (since the worst harassment I've ever seen has been actual felonies), it sure is some of the most blatant: transparently manufacturing a content dispute with someone who was involved in one's TBAN on another wiki, then dragging them to AN/I.". And it's hard to construe this U4C case as anything but a continuation of this behavior.

Nevertheless, I find the community sanctions already imposed on FtT adequate and am not proposing any additional solutions at this time. Asamboi (talk) 23:02, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion between the involved parties and the U4C members

Only the involved parties and U4C members may edit in this section.

  • @Faster than Thunder: why are you bringing this here, days after being indef blocked on enwiki for bringing it there? While this is a better venue, the partial block on enwv was supported by community consensus - the U4C is highly, highly unlikely to agree that is an abuse of power. I would strongly recommend that you close this case (and the RFC you opened) and focus on editing some area where people haven't taken issue with your edits. – Ajraddatz (talk) 05:10, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • I mostly agree with Ajr above. I suggest you stop knocking on every door you find and instead take a break. After some time, you can return to contribute productively in areas unrelated to what you were banned or blocked from. Once you’ve demonstrated a clear understanding of the issues involved and after a good period of time, you can consider requesting an unblock or unban locally.--BRP ever 06:12, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note for readers: I have reverted two edits by an IP address that belongs to a user with recent edits on Meta who was editing while logged out. The person knows who they are and will be blocked if they do it again. I no longer have any tolerance for socking or logged-out editing on U4C cases, it is bizarre how often this is happening. – Ajraddatz (talk) 17:30, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
