Hello, I am IQR, and I believe in taking on new challenges. I have been a member of different communities, and I love serving people. I believe in doing good for the people, providing them with the support needed to grow and contribute more meaningfully to society, thus making society a better place. I am on English Wikipedia because I believe in its mission and values, and it has been great for me to edit and learn from other editors and administrators, too. Communicating with diverse communities has certainly helped me a lot with delving into the cultural behaviors. I have had the privilege of working with people from various cultural backgrounds. My local community work and collaboration with diverse teams certainly have helped me a lot with building the necessary experience. I am confident I can use my profound understanding of diverse cultural values and be at the forefront of identifying and overcoming issues in core areas of effective communication.
Please describe what do you hope to do if elected.
I seek UCoC Coordinating Committee Election 2025 as a big opportunity to prove myself how I can be a valuable asset to promoting the vision and mission of Wikimedia (its values and code of conduct across all wiki projects). If I am elected, I will work towards ensuring proper reinforcements of the behavioral standards, help communities contribute to Wikipedia's mission of free knowledge in the best way possible, keeping the teams connected and passionate forever, for the goals to achieve ahead. Besides this, I aim to promote safe, respectful, and inclusive environments where users/collaborators and anyone or everyone from anywhere and everywhere feel good to contribute in their own way, being inspired by support from the other community members and, of course, overcoming all cultural barriers.
