University of Ljubljana Wiki Student Club (Študentski Wikiklub Univerze v Ljubljani) is a student club established at University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. The headquarters of the student club is the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana.

Goals
[edit]As University of Ljubljana Wiki Student Club, our goals are as follows:
- We aim to teach students how to contribute responsibly and effectively to the Slovenian Wikipedia and related Wikimedia projects.
- Develop students’ abilities to find reliable sources, verify information, and maintain Wikipedia’s standards of accuracy and neutrality.
- Encourage articles on Slovene culture, history, science, and current events that are underrepresented online.
- Organize workshops, edit-a-thons, and events in collaboration with other Wikimedia groups or cultural institutions.
- Collaboration on youth and student issues with the CEE Youth Group and other Wiki Student Clubs around the world.
Instructions for participants
[edit]- Where? Faculty of Arts. Classroom 309 (third floor on the right) from 15:30 to 17:55. A laptop is recommended.
- Exam period. The meetings are paused until the start of the summer semester. More info will follow.
Activities
[edit]Gorizia-Nova Gorica 2025
[edit]The Gorizia-Nova Gorica 2025 collaboration between the Slovene and Italian communities will take place from 19 to 29 December to celebrate the conclusion of the joint tenure of Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and Gorizia (Italy) as European Capitals of Culture in 2025.
