My work
My volunteer role as Executive Director of the Wikimedians of UAE User Group provides me with opportunities to network with institutions and oraganizations, locally and regionally, to spread awareness of the Wikimedia Foundations' work as well as the work of the user group. Furthermore, I work directly with the director of the UAE User Group to align on strategies, as well as offer leadership advise to support and empower the team to work towards the mission and provide opportunities to further enhance their skills. Through reports, media coverage and year-long community outreach, I strive to amplify the work of the user group and encourage the community to be part of the movement.
