About me

English: I am a contributor, principally to the English Wikipedia where I am a checkuser and administrator.

On Wikipedia, I am a copy editor (and member of the GCE). In the 03/13 copy editing drive, I rewrote exactly 9999 words and also took the winning Copyedit for w:en:Geopolitics. The monthly drives are rewarding and enjoyable – and anyone can sign up.

Administrative responsibilities take up much of my volunteer time these days, but I have contributed to some recognised content in the past. I collaborated on w:Royal prerogative in the United Kingdom and the w:Scottish Portal. I started w:en:List of FIFA World Cup finals, but more esteemed and hard-working users improved that article.

My Wikimedia WikiBirthday guest blog was, embarassingly, mentioned on Twitter and "liked" on Facebook by 370 people!
