"Designing learning as a collective and transformative process."

About me

I’m an instructional and multimedia designer working with the Community Development team at the Wikimedia Foundation. I support the creation of learning experiences that are inclusive, accessible, and rooted in community collaboration.

My work focuses on the design of courses for WikiLearn, the Foundation’s learning platform. I collaborate with movement organizers, partners, and Wikimedia affiliates to co-create courses that strengthen skills, knowledge sharing, and peer support.

Originally from El Salvador and currently based in Barcelona, I bring a multidisciplinary background in humanities, digital storytelling, and pedagogy. I’m especially passionate about fostering safe, creative, and empowering learning spaces across our global movement.

My work

At the Wikimedia Foundation, I work on:

  • Instructional design and digital learning strategies
  • Course creation in WikiLearn
  • Templates and toolkits for autonomous course development
  • Community-centered learning processes (Organizer Lab, Let's Connect, etc.)
  • Multimedia storytelling and accessible content
