About me
I love learning and teaching. My academic background is in philosophy (B.A., M.A., and Ph.D.), but I’m passionate about inter- and transdisciplinary projects. I enjoy collaborative work and open-ended prototyping processes, where our diverse forms of intelligence come together to create collectively. For nearly two decades, I have supported individual and collective processes of learning, research, and creation. Teaching is one of my deepest passions, which is why I have worked as a university professor (at both undergraduate and graduate levels) and as a teacher in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
My work
I am committed to education and research as tools for democratizing our society by promoting critical and responsible civic engagement. As Knowledge Engagement Coordinator at Wikimedia Colombia, I will help lead the implementation of our 2025–2027 strategy, Disoñar Futuros Posibles (“Reimagining Possible Futures”). Through this strategy, we aim to support societal transformation by encouraging the active and diverse participation of communities in building and sustaining the Wikimedia Movement in Colombia. Our focus includes promoting multiculturalism, equity, and decentralization, while contributing to the creation of hopeful, collective narratives with multiple stakeholders to imagine and shape possible futures.
