About me

Hello World. My name is Chris Koerner. (My last name is pronounced Ker-ner). I'm a Community Relations Specialist. I’m here to support the communities the foundation works with across the Wikimedia movement.

I've been with the foundation for three years now, and have been a MediaWikian and Wikipedian since 2013.

I'm currently helping to respond to feedback regarding the recommendations during the Recommendations synthesis phase of the Movement Strategy. I'll be triaging comments on the talk page, responding when appropriate, and escalating to the strategy team when needed.

I'm also helping to better clarify the 2030 movement brand project and triage feedback there as well. I'll be attending a workshop in support of the project in Bengaluru, India.

I’m a partner to those underrepresented in our community and work to have better representation of the diverse voices in our projects.

I'm someone who tries to follow the idea of New Sincerity. In short, I'm honest with minimal irony or sarcasm.

Reach out to me however suits you best and I’ll get back to you.
