Hello!
I am a mathematics educator, Wikimedia contributor, and community organiser from India.
My interests lie at the intersection of education, mathematics, open knowledge, Wikimedia projects, community building, and outreach. Through my Wikimedia activities, I enjoy contributing to free and accessible knowledge and creating spaces where people can learn, collaborate, and contribute.
I believe that making knowledge open and easy to contribute to makes it more meaningful and accessible to everyone.
My Wikimedia journey
[edit]My Wikimedia journey began in 2024, when I joined Deoband Community Wikimedia as a volunteer. I later served as the Conversation Hour Lead for the DCW Conversation Hour programme for a year.
From March 2025 to March 2026, I served as a Board Member of Deoband Community Wikimedia.
I also served as the Trust and Safety Manager for the Train a Wikipedian programme.
My Wikimedia interests include knowledge sharing, education and internationalisation.

[edit]Deoband Community Wikimedia has been an important part of my Wikimedia journey. Through my involvement with the community, I have had the opportunity to contribute to community development, programme coordination, outreach, and contributor engagement.
Wikimedia and education
[edit]As a mathematics student and teacher-in-training, I am particularly interested in how Wikimedia projects can be used as educational resources and how students can become contributors rather than only consumers of information.
I am interested in exploring the connection between Wikimedia and education.
I hope to contribute to initiatives that encourage students and educators to participate actively in the Wikimedia movement.
