I've primarily contributed to projects in the MediaWiki ecosystem. I've been interested in making it as easy as possible to use the MediaWiki API to solve problems and answer questions, wrote standards for, evaluated, and improved MediaWiki API client libraries as an intern during OPW Round 8 and worked on bots for the en.wp Co-op project and IdeaLab as a WMF contractor. I then worked for the Wikimedia Foundation as a developer on the Community Tech Team. The associated work username was Fhocutt (WMF). I left the Foundation in March 2016.
