About me

My background is in web development education, care work and product management. I also have some previous experience volunteering as a First Aid Officer with St John Ambulance: an organisation which teaches and provides first aid and emergency medical services, and are primarily staffed by volunteers.

I have great respect and admiration for volunteers and the strong communities built around and by them. I am proud to be able to provide support and resources to Wikipedians in this role.

My work

I started working for the German Chapter of Wikimedia, Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. (WMDE), in the Communities and Engagement department in April 2023. You can find out more about me and the other team members here on the WMDE-Community-Portal.

My duties include supporting the trainer network (Trainer*innennetzwerk – German only), the further development of user-centred digital onboarding opportunities and content for new volunteers in collaboration with the Wikipedia community. --> Jenna Schröder (WMDE)
