About me
I come from Ostrów Lubelski, a small town in southeastern Poland, hidden among forests and lakes. I'm currently based in Garwolin, but as a happy owner (and co-maker!) of a VW T4 campervan, I love hitting the road whenever the weather is decent, camping around Poland and neighboring countries.
I strongly believe that efficient communication is key to building successful relationships and strong, thriving communities. I love exploring how we connect as humans — both on a personal and organisational level.
In my free time, I enjoy being in nature, outdoor activities, cycling, birdwatching, writing, baking vegan cakes, practicing mindfulness, and working on various DIY projects.
My work
I studied Journalism and Social Communication at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, and in my graduate work, I explored the topic of internal communication in international organisations.
For a couple of years, I was a member of AIESEC, supporting international youth exchanges. After that, I started working in marketing, communications, and employer branding teams in various organisations and companies. My professional experience includes building and implementing communication strategies, content creation, copywriting, event management, partnership development, and community-oriented communications. I'm also interested in wellbeing, health, and sustainability.
As an Erasmus+ volunteer, I had the opportunity to live on Euobea as part of an eco-community, where I deepened my knowledge of communal living, sustainability, and non-violent communication. Through another project, I spent half a year in Messejana, running educational initiatives in the spirit of Maker culture for youth from across Europe and the local community of Alentejo.
As a Community and Communication Specialist at Wikimedia CEE Hub, my mission is to support the organisational structure of Wikimedia affiliates and communities and promote greater equity in the region.
