Prior to working for the WMF I specialised in research on tackling online disinformation and extremism. I worked as part of a team advising multiple social media platforms on how best to build policies countering disinformation campaigns, particularly around elections and medical issues. My work
At the WMF I investigate how disinformation affects Wikipedia projects so that we can best understand how to support Wikipedia communities in countering the threat of disinformation campaigns.
