About me
I’m passionate about photographing heritage and architecture that reflect India’s layered history. My journey began with documenting monuments and cultural spaces around Delhi, blending visual storytelling with research in Persian and Islamic studies.
I hold a Master’s degree in Persian from the University of Delhi, which shaped my deep interest in Islamic art, architecture, and culture. Photography, for me, is about preserving memory, identity, and time through visuals that connect people to places.
My work
I joined Wikimedia Commons through the Heritage Lens Fellowship, where I began documenting monuments, local traditions, and cultural narratives. Since then, I’ve continued contributing to Wikimedia by sharing photographs that celebrate history, architecture, and everyday heritage.
My projects often focus on connecting art, architecture, and community — highlighting how built spaces carry living memories. Beyond Commons, I aim to expand my work through visual storytelling, workshops, and educational outreach to promote heritage awareness among youth.
