My name is Nubel Barioe Benjamin, and I am a result-driven and motivated information professional with a background in Library and Information Science. Over the years, I have developed practical experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), research, knowledge management, and digital information services. I am passionate about using technology to improve information access, documentation, and organizational effectiveness, and I continuously seek opportunities to learn, innovate, and make meaningful contributions to society.
As a technology enthusiast and fast learner, I have acquired skills in computer maintenance, data analysis, programming, digital literacy, and information management systems. My professional journey has allowed me to combine the principles of information science with modern technological solutions to support knowledge sharing, research, and community development. One of the areas I am most passionate about is the Wikimedia movement. As an active Wikimedia contributor, I have focused on reviewing, improving, and creating content on English Wikipedia and Wikidata. Through these contributions, I have played a role in promoting open knowledge, enhancing access to reliable information, and supporting digital inclusion. My work has involved creating new articles, improving existing content, and contributing structured data that helps make knowledge more accessible to people around the world.
Beyond contributing content, I have had the privilege of facilitating and supporting several impactful Wikimedia and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
I also participated in the Wikidigi Youth Club 2026, an experience that further strengthened my commitment to youth development, leadership, and digital empowerment.
